We would like to take this opportunity to thank you both very much for your works with us over a number of years now and to record our appreciation for your installation of our security alarm, especially with the features that resulted in avoiding what would have been a catastrophe for our business and for the businesses of other occupiers of our building.

For some time now we have benefited from your alarm system where it telephoned us to tell us if there is an interface with our power supply.  This had the added advantage of enabling us to deal with issues that arise with our IT system if there is a power failure.

However, that same system proved most useful with alerting us to a recent electrical fault in our building which had resulted in our switch board catching fire.

We received our usual alarm alert call in the late hour of one evening recently which on inspection was the result of a fire in the switch board.  Had we not had the alarm alert there appears little question that the whole building would have caught fire with drastic consequences for our law firm and the other occupants of our building.

We are pleased to be able to engage you with the installation of new security system for our new building and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial association.

Iʼve known Darren and Natasha for over 10 years. In the time, they have consistently given me great support, advice and service not only with my security requirements, but with Sound systems in both my homes in Nelson and Golden Bay. Nothing has ever been a problem, they forever go ʻthe extra mileʼ, and their response times to any of my requests are outstanding. I certainly wonʼt be using anyone else, anytime time soon!

When we built our new home we engaged Darren Ward from Nelson Bays Security to firstly plan and then future proof wire throughout the house. This was a good decision as it was no problem to hard wire additional speakers in the office which was not originally planned. The central control system that Darren installed allows us to run off just one remote our Sky TV, sound in 5 different zones as well as a 7 zone irrigation system. Lighting and heating can be added at little extra cost if we want to.Periodic software updates keeps the system running smoothly. We have been delighted with the smart solutions that Darren has implemented and it hasn’t cost a fortune.

We bought our Nelson home in 2005, and since we travel a lot our insurance company insisted we install a security system. Looking around and checking with contractors we heard that Darren Ward of Nelson Bays Security offered good quality systems with good service. We have a Central Monitoring Service to respond to alarms, as well as an individual that checks on the property if an alarm goes off. Our system also has fire monitoring that calls the fire brigade if needed, and also a medical alert function that will get the ambulance and a medic to show up if called. It has all worked well, as all 3 functions (police, fire and ambulance) have been used in the last 8 years. In addition we get a regular bi-annual checkup from Darren to test everything and replace batteries. We have never lost anything, or had a fire, and the false alarms were due to human errors in setting the alarms.

One further note. We entrust Darren with a key to our house while we are travelling, and once we lost our key and called Darren to come let us in. It was a Sunday, but he arrived quickly and even though it was his day off he was cheery.

In short, we have a good system with excellent service.
